Collaborative Spirit

A look into how I value teamwork and communication.

Collaborate through leadership

My collaborative spirit has been shaped and tested through leading two major team projects—first with Winedoojan, and then with Pickly. In Winedoojan, I stepped into the role of team leader for the first time. I quickly realized that effective collaboration isn’t just about working together, but about creating an environment where each member can contribute efficiently and confidently. I experimented with different leadership and communication styles, learning how to support my teammates, clarify goals, and facilitate open discussions. This experience laid the foundation for my understanding of what makes a team truly effective.

Pursuing Efficiency

Efficiency is at the core of my approach to teamwork. During both Winedoojan and Pickly, I introduced daily team meetings that were carefully structured for clarity and productivity. Before each meeting, I organized the agenda into clear categories and shared discussion points with the team, ensuring everyone could contribute and prepare collaboratively. Our conversations were concise and focused, always beginning with the main topics and avoiding unnecessary detours. I encouraged open, direct communication—if someone had a question or identified a potential issue, we addressed it immediately. This approach allowed us to resolve challenges swiftly and prevented meetings from dragging on, keeping every session under an hour.

Evolving as a Leader

Building on the lessons from Winedoojan, I led the Pickly project with an even stronger emphasis on efficient collaboration and proactive problem-solving. I refined our workflow, further streamlining communication and reinforcing a culture where every team member felt empowered to speak up. When issues arose, we tackled them head-on, leveraging our collective expertise to find solutions quickly. The result was not only smoother project execution, but also a team dynamic built on trust, respect, and shared ownership. Through these experiences, I have come to believe that true collaboration is about more than just working together—it’s about maximizing each person’s strengths, fostering open dialogue, and always striving for greater efficiency and impact.
